Mobile Key iLOQ S50 – How to Prepare for Your Move
In two of our housing sites (Upseeritie 1, Punkkerikatu 1), the iLOQ S50 mobile key replaces mechanical keys, making access safer and more convenient.
The digital key works via a mobile app, and the lock is opened by holding your phone near the lock.
To ensure smooth access to your home on moving day, please download the app and activate your key in advance by following the instructions below.
What is iLOQ S50?
- A digital key that works with a free mobile application
- The lock is opened using NFC — the energy for opening the lock comes from your phone
- Works with Android, iPhone, and Huawei devices
- Your phone essentially functions as your key
What do you need to do?
1. Check your contact details in LOAS-Intra
The activation link will be sent via SMS to the phone number listed in Intra.
- Log in to LOAS-Intra
- Click "Edit basic information" in the upper right corner of the front page
- Make sure your phone number and email address are correct
2. Download the iLOQ S50 app to your phone
You can install the app right away. Make sure to update the app whenever an update is available to ensure that the key works properly.
Download the app from your device’s app store:
- Google Play (Android)
- App Store (iPhone)
- AppGallery (Huawei)
Installing the app does not activate the key yet – activation is done separately via the link you receive by SMS.
3. Activate the digital key (you will receive an SMS from LOAS)
You will receive an activation link via SMS from LOAS before your rental agreement begins.
The link is valid for 120 hours, but we recommend activating the key immediately.
The SMS reads:
“You have received a new iLOQ S50 key. Click the link to activate it.”
Activation steps:
- Click the link you received
- The link automatically opens the S50 app
- The activation code is filled in automatically — you do not need to enter it yourself
- Your key will be ready for use on the official moving day at 12:00 pm. The moving day is the contract start date. If the contract start date is not a weekday, the official moving day is the first weekday after the contract start date.

The instructions can also be found directly in the S50 app. In the app settings, you can set the lock to stay open for a maximum of 15 seconds, giving you more time to open the lock.
Creating a temporary mobile key for another person through Intra
A temporary key may be needed, for example, to water flowers, take care of a pet, etc. while you are away. You can create a temporary key by opening the rental agreement information from the Functions button. Press the Keys button on the page that opens. Fill in the name you have chosen for the temporary key (for example the name of the person receiving the temporary key), enter the user's phone number and specify the validity period.
Sending a new activation link when changing your phone
If you change your phone, you can send yourself a new activation link via the Intra. Open your rental agreement details from the Actions button. On the page that opens, click the Keys button. Then click the Send activation link button under the Apartment keys section.
NOTE! If your phone number changes, please contact LOAS via the Intra’s Contact us function. When your number changes, you will need a new activation link, which you cannot send yourself through the Intra.
Phone charging points in the courtyards
Charging points have been installed on the walls of the courtyard buildings of both housing sites in case the resident's phone runs out of battery. The charging point provides 10 minutes of charging time by pressing a button. The charging points look like small gray cabinets with a black swivel handle.
The charging point at the Punkkerikatu 1 housing site can be found on the wall of the outbuilding in front of building B. The charging point at the Upseeritie 1 housing site is on the wall of the only outbuilding in the courtyard.
