DEPOSIT PAYMENT
You must pay a deposit of 200 € for a room to the bank account of Lappeenranta Student Housing Foundation LOAS. The deposit must be paid by the due date mentioned in your offer. Please note that you may have to pay a separate fee for an international transaction. DO NOT SEND US CHEQUES OR YOUR BANK INFORMATION! If you pay from a bank account in some EU country, ask to make an EU payment.

The deposit will be returned to the account specified by the client if the client has returned the keys to the apartment, if the apartment is clean and in normal condition when the tenant moves out, and if the tenant has fulfilled all obligations relating to housing including rent and other payments. LOAS may use some or all of the deposit payment to cover any such unfulfilled obligations.

RENT
Rents for student accommodation consist of:

- a cost per square metre (rent),

- a separate fee and

- a furniture fee.

- A separate fee is charged for the use of electricity, sauna and laundry room.
- A furniture fee is charged from the tenants who use the LOAS furniture.

An additional fee is charged for parking spaces. The minimum period of notice is one calendar month, in accordance with the Act on Renting Apartments and Houses.

PAYING YOUR RENT
The due date for rent is always the 5th day of each month even if you arrive LOAS after due date.
